Tara told us from the very beginning she LOVED SPARKLE. Spencer, not one to disappoint his lady, went full force into the idea. He attended all décor meetings, he always had something to say, and he gave his beautiful bride the look she dreamed of.
We began by designing their color board, which ended up being silver (in the form of glitter and sequins), plum, and a touch of turquoise.
Here’s how that board came to life:
This girl, in this dress. Even we swooned.
Hey Tara, gorgeous much?
Adorable bridesmaids alert!
The boys were feeling dapper! *Real Men Wear Pink*.
All invitations and stationery had a little sparkle, a lot of hearts, and were definitely the fun feel that the bride wanted.
The inside of these programs spun around to answer questions asked on the outer edge, to keep guests entertained before the ceremony. Wedding party, the menu, transportation information, dessert, and more, were included on these adorable babies!
Switzerfilm set up this a-dorable First Look scene with photos of the bride and groom strung up with hearts. Perfection.
The Ceremony:
We handpainted these turquoise vases to add a pop of color to the aisle.
The Palladium, flipped from a ceremony to a stunning reception.
The Snow Cone bar with unique flavors was a fun favor and activity for guests.
Various centerpiece designs for the guest tables.
Mirrors were used frequently in the décor (including table numbers) to magnify the sparkle even further. You can also find hearts throughout the evening as a mini Tara and Spencer theme. Tables were adorned in silver sparkles from top to bottom and twinkled in the candlelight. We created the signature drink “Sparkle Bomb” (the disco ball stir stick was so fun), the cake was festooned in custom fondant sequins, escort cards were glitter heart ornaments hung from shiny silver trees, custom sequin pillows were made to decorate the lounge, and they had a Sparkler Exit at the end of their evening!
A custom fabric draped chandelier was created by the amazing Carley at Millennium Productions. The dance floor was used for the first time in St Louis at this wedding, gorgeous white acrylic that can be lit from within. The squares to make up the dance floor were used to create the couples gorgeous white aisle, then transformed into the dance floor where its LED lights were turned on to create a party atmosphere. A beautiful ceremony backdrop was made in their colors and the aisle was adorned with fresh orchids.
The custom Snow Cone bar was a fun surprise for guests on the hot summer day. Guests were able to eat their snow cone as they danced the night away, or take one for the road in a custom Tara and Spencer logo cup.
When Tara and Spencer arrived at the venue to see their design come to life, they were truly floored. It was great to see them so happy to see their beautiful event come together the way they had hoped. And Tara’s silver sparkly gown looked amazing in the room!
We were so happy to be part of this fun and joyful day!
