Julia and Henri

Julia and Henri both work in tech in California but with Julia’s family from St Louis, they wanted to plan their wedding here. They dreamed of a neutral palette with pops of bright colors, using some tropical influences. Working with their ceremony venue of the Jewel Box allowed that theme to be seamless. We brought things together at the St Louis Art Museum as well as cultural inclusions from their respective heritages. For Julia, we had a professional Lion Dance which started outside and weaved its way inside where an Albanian band was playing traditional Albanian music for Julia and Henri to do their circle dance, where they were showered with cash as they joined hands with their guests. It was a beautiful and artful exchange of music and culture, all before dinner! After guests dined in the grand Sculpture Hall, they were invited outside for yet a third band, where guests danced under the moonlight and twinkle lights.
