an urban ombre soiree for ‘the knot’
In 2011 we were selected to design and plan an industry event for The Knot called Cocktails and Connections. With so many ideas, we finally settled on an ombre theme, and wanted to include The Knot’s signature blue within our range of colors. We wanted it to be vibrant, young, and on-trend. The ombre look had really begun to be hot on the runways, and we were so inspired to translate that look into an event. Once we settled on our color scheme, we partnered with vendors who we knew could execute ombre, if even for their first time trying this look. From desserts to lighting to drinks – to our outfits, we had the theme on lock. This event was so much fun and we think our industry cohorts had a great time. A big thank-you to The Knot for the great opportunity to plan this stylish event!
