just for fun – home ice cream shoppe party
Oh-our-gosh.
Tiff’s niece was turning 13, and just like every summer, she was in town from Rome. She is slightly, if not completely obsessed with Cold Stone Creamery so it was decided to throw her a surprise party, a la do-it-yourself Cold Stone-style.
First, it was necessary to set up “Shoppe”. Decorations were placed carefully around the house, including this fabulous custom banner from The Banner Sisters (and by the way, they turned around this baby for us in, I think, 2 days – score).
Ice cream came in 3 flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and coffee, and toppings were not in short supply.
Because pink is niece’s favorite color, we made sure to have pink sprinkles, pink lemonade, fresh home-made pink whipped cream (you betcha!), and we even found Oreo’s that had pink filling. Check out photos from the fun night next. Needless to say, the party was a huge success for kids and adults, and we had way too much candy leftovers. Double score.
